Note by Leem: A 2nd Anniversary picture. Apparently the title is a pun on the “Skonk Works” in Al Capp's Li’l Abner, later picked up by Lockheed as the name of its special projects department. Obviously here the title refers to the fact that this skunk lady is turning into a work of art. It’s one of the few pieces that actually captures the subject in mid- transformation, and as such it’s reminiscent of Pygmalion and Galatea by Gérôme - except that there, Galatea is turning from stone rather than into it.
Adjusted to white out background.
