Athena's group after the SFH snafu (scene A8). They meet up with Flexia's team in the Time Cave (scene F3) and everyone else only at the rest break (scene G1).
Scene E1 - View of Crystal King
- Players at start of scene
- NPCs introduced
- They travel separately in two bubbles, possibly separated in time by a minute or two.
- Athena, RS5
- Ginger, Regina
- The trip winds above the fields of marble statuary and possibly Petrified Forest, then plunges underground again.
- 'Open up' the game a little, as a counterpoint to all the caves etc. Keeping to the 50's-tech theme, these vistas are all 'matte paintings' so the characters cannot interact with the scene, only view it.
- Keep the mood dark; this is not a happy part of the adventure. Ominous is a good way to describe it.
- Sky should also be gray and overcast. Shadows are almost invisible and hazy in the flat light.
- Arrive into a wide cavern filled with stalagmites, stalactites, and many pillars of quartz-like crystals which have something embedded in them. Cavern is spectacularly lit (think Carlsbad) and really beautiful in a menacing way.
- Near stopping point there are more crystal columns, with a clearer view of the naked women ((& men, too, if you must) trapped within.
- The bubbles open, but no-one is eager to get out. RS5 has "a really bad feeling about this"
- Athena true to form is ready to go slay dragons (of which there are none in this adventure)
- Regina expresses rational caution, in effect takes command.
- While others explore, she tries to make sense of the control system of the SFH
- Knows some phonetic instructions, but not sure if saying the same thing as the Guide is a good idea
- Ginger is wide-eyed and fretful, possibly a bit of foreshadowing as this is where she could end up later
- She wanders among the frozen statues, which go on for some distance.
- A noise in the middle distance spooks her and she returns at a run, making the most of her long legs
- Regina is having better luck with the SFH
- At some command the bubbles click together and doors open again
- She cries "get in, NOW!" which alerts the others to react
- Athena has gotten far enough to be face-to-face with the Crystal King, who remarks what an excellent addition she would be to his gallery. Athena is about to attack him when she hears Regina's recall. After an uncertain moment, she retreats.
- SFH departs when all are aboard, heading farther into the caverns

- Players added (none)
Scene E2 - Hard Water [written by dmuk]
Scene E3 - CMQ Freeze 1 [to be written by cmq]
- Players at start of scene
- NPCs introduced
- NPC1 (? if needed [cmq please let me know])
- Unspecified peril, perhaps some other form of immobilization. RS5 is available too.
- Ginger is curious and falls into another trap
- She somehow gets turned into a statue/waxwork.
- Flexia's tiara can revive her but the other character is not in this scene (nearby, though)
- Regina is left, alone, to find the others
- The adventure is getting tougher and she's loving it.
- Wonders how Rogers is doing, not knowing he may have been lost
- She wanders over to find the time-cave tableaux in scene F3 (intercut)
- Players lost
- Players added (none)
Scene E4 - Ginger/Athena revival [note, follows F3 in sequence]
- Players at start of scene
- Group is back together, tells Regina about Petrified Forest and narrow escapes
- Regina leads them back to Ginger, who is still there, very still.
- Flexia tries to make the tiara work, finally finds out the trick
- Ginger comes alive, sees all of them standing there (to her they just popped out of thin air), says "Oh No, not again!!?"
- Regina just nods
- Flexia cannot revive RS5 (or her figure is missing)
- Group proceeds back to Hard Water cave, and the stony countenance of Athena
- Flexia's tiara does not work
- Athena is pretty heavy but they manage to carry her or rig a sledge somehow.
- Kla'Tre says she knows of some way to revive her (not yet though)
- While they argue, Rogers takes an ill-fated sip from the same magic fountain that got Athena
- To him the water tastes like fine wine, then the chill overtakes him
- With a cry of 'I don't feel so good!' he pales and solidifies into stone. Due to his bulk he is too heavy to lift.
- Regina makes a t'sk-ing sound and says out of character 'he should have known better'...
- They'll come back for him, they say... [but they do not]
- Players lost
- Players added
Scene E5 - Subway to Rest Break
- Players at start of scene
- Regina asks about how to de-petrify Athena, no one knows. They continue to carry her
- For once, the Guide Kla'Tre does not steer them wrong (perhaps because Athena is too heavy)
- She directs them to a SFH station and summons a 3-car train.
- Train departs to the Rest Break without interruption
- Rejoin the remainder of group and try to figure out a solution for the petrified super-heroine.
- Players lost (none)
- Players added (none)
