Groot's group after the crash (scene AA4). They are in a different valley from Lepton and do not know he survived, do not rejoin the others until the SFH (scene A8). Groot's crash spot is low enough for them not to be frozen stiff, but they find some caves anyway (the hills are *full* of them).
Scene B1 - Different Valley
- Players at start of scene
- <fill in more detail of landing place>
- Group gets together, though there is an argument between Groot and Athena about who should lead. An uneasy truce is formed and they walk side-by-side.
- Suddenly a buzzing/ringing sound is heard from the sky.
- Xog's troops are attacking using rocket backpacks.
- This looks menacing, but their aim is lousy
- Players fire back while retreating to a box-canyon-like cleft in the rock.
- Players lost (none)
- Players added (none)
Scene B2 - Garden of Sun-Statues
- Players at start of scene
- Walking along the narrow, valley, the group comes upon a glade populated by many white marble statues of women and men, all rendered with exquisite detail. Most stand on low pedestals, though some recline or are perched in trees. All are stony, solid, and inanimate.
- Comes the sunset (the same one which is wreaking frozen havoc in Lepton's group) which bathes the statues in orange-pink light for a few moments before vanishing behind the mountain. Just at the last, there is a 'green flash' effect that almost makes them look like flesh & blood.
- Oh, but it does more than that. One by one, the statues come to life and greet the players (much to their surprise and delight)
- The inhabitants of the valley are alive only in the twilight zone (sic) between night and day.
- It is an odd result of the sunlight and some mineral outcrop high on the mountain.
- First exposure turned them to stone, ever afterward they petrify up by day and freeze up in the cold night air.
- Despite this hardship they accept it and try to live as best they can, even to the point of adopting artistic poses in the day for show
- As the stone woman finishes explaining this, it gets too cold and she suddenly stops stock-still in her tracks.
- The players decide not to wait to sunrise to find out if the odd spectral rays would have the same ossifying effect on them.
- Group moves afterward to cave seen in a hill, but there are a lot of twisty little passages, all alike. Discussion flares as to leader, now a different tack is taken:
- Temporarily split into two parts (hesitant to call them teams) to try and find the right path
- Groot, Cody, Gordon, RS3
- Athena, Phoboa, Ginger, RS2

Scene B3 - Dart Corridor
- Players at start
- Tunnel with paralyzing darts that shoot out. Gordon gets zapped, the others have to carry him to end, where a drug in a medkit(?) revives him
- Set out to find other group, end up at river. Pretty soon girls float by, and the guys run alongside to rescue them and some end up in the rapids too. See B5 for conclusion.

Scene B4 - Starch Corridor [to be written by cmq]
- Players at start
- The girls are clearly lost. They wander into a corridor filled with vapors an moisture dripping from above, but do not suspect anything.
- After setting out, they notice the gunk is soaking their clothes and hardening, making it difficult to move.
- They try to run, but that does not happen. Slowly, like in slow-motion they make for the exit.
- RS2 does not get there in time, but stops before the end. Looking back, the others can see him/her coated with a hard shell of starch/plastic.
- When they clear the corridor, the floor becomes very slippery (soapy) and starts to slope downward. Soon the remaining three are sliding down a chute-like lava tube and end up splashing into a river of what looks like liquid gold. It is not hot however, and so they float downstream.

Scene B5 - River of Gold
- Players at start of scene
- Girls are floating, trying to get out, as they pass the guys a rescue is attempted, during which others (RS3, Gordon) also fall in to the golden flow.
- They get thoroughly soaked, the liquid is thicker than plain water and retains a golden hue even on their skin, almost like paint.
- Liquid is not hot, but is warmer than usual mountain streams, say about 80degress or so -- volcanic?
- RS3 cannot swim so well, climbs out onto a rock and quickly freezes into place as the 'water' solidifies. RS looks a little like the mermaid statue.
- Remainder (Athena, Gordon, Phoboa, Ginger) get to shore, emerge, and are likewise turned to gilded monuments. Inside their hard golden outer shells they remain conscious and can speak (mumble) after a fashion. The coating continues to get even more solid as they cool.
- Cody hits upon the idea of a steambath, and with a bit of searching they uncover a hotsprings with an almost-scalding waterfall
- Drag the now-solidifed statues into the gusher
- Wait for it to soften/dissolve the golden coating. This works but the hot water is very uncomfortable.
- Athena is released first, helps move the others after stripping off her costume to 'let it dry'
- Athena begrudgingly admits Groot had saved her from becoming a trophy. He quips that she would put an Oscar to shame.
- After all are recovered (RS3 is too far back to retrieve) they continue down the tunnel to find the SFH.
- Players lost

Scene B6 - Arrive first at SFH Station
- Players at start of scene
- Good opportunity to explore the SFH station, posters, etc.
- They try to summon a train, but nothing happens (or do they screw up the destinations?)
- After some time passes (enough for Athena to lay someone?), Lepton's group arrives and pick up with Xog and the Subway From Hell
- Players lost (none)
- Players added (none)
